I love a GOOD CHALLENGE!

So, it’s the new year, and I always seem to think…WHAT WILL MY LIFE BE LIKE IN THIS COMING YEAR? Will I live the same life I have lived? Will I try to improve and become better? What will I learn this year?

I know we always challenge ourselves to improve upon ourselves. But, how many of you are like me when I say I am sick of just saying it and I actually want to do it! There is SO MUCH more for me to learn, experience, go through…and I don’t want to miss out on any of it.

So, anyway, that brings me to a challenge I received just a few short days ago. My pastor at church challenged us to read the whole Bible in a month. Thats right, I said a month. Basically, we would do it together as the family of God and read it out loud in the sanctuary when we were here. Well, it is only day 3 and we have completed almost 20 books of the Bible! How awesome is that? I am trying to meet that challenge head on…in my own life, with the cast of Garbonics (explanation to come), and even with my Bible Ed class.

I strive to be better. I yearn to grow. I want tomorrow to be better than today. I dont know…sometimes I feel like I ramble. But after all, isnt that why you come and read these posts? JUST KIDDING (I hope).
